Troubleshooting Remote Access

Incorrect system time

Remote access relies on encryption, which requires the device clock to be accurate. If the system time is incorrect, the encrypted connection cannot be established.

Verify that the device's system time is correct and synchronized (e.g., via NTP).

Incorrect DNS configuration

Remote access requires that the Qbee cloud platform can be resolved via DNS. Intermittent or incorrect DNS settings on the device can cause connection failures, even when DNS appears to be configured correctly.

Verify your local DNS configuration and ensure the device can consistently resolve the Qbee cloud platform's hostname.

Outdated Qbee Agent version

Devices running qbee-agent versions older than 2024.09 cannot connect to the remote access infrastructure. Remote access will not be available until the agent is updated.
